ベジタリアンのお料理はプロテイン不足と思っている方が多いようです。
私はもう25年間赤身のお肉、鶏肉を食べていませんが、プロテイン不足で不健康になっていません。
ただ、お肉無しでプロテインを十分に摂取できるお料理を作るのは難しいと思います。

そこで、このクラスではお家で簡単に満足できるベジタリアンレシピをご紹介します。
ベジタリアンパテと秋の旬の野菜スープや、旬のお野菜サラダとドレッシング。
ドレッシングを買うのも良いですが、売っている多くのドレッシングには沢山の砂糖、防腐剤などが入っています。
このクラスでは簡単に作れて保存もできるドレッシングをご紹介します。
全てはゼロから作ります。ヨガレッスンの後にキャンプファイヤーを囲んで一緒に楽しみましょう!

BEACH YOGA: Friday, October 2nd
What better way to start your day than with morning beach yoga? I'm delighted to be able to share yoga with you on my all time favorite beach, Ishiki Kaigan, in Hayama. Enliven your senses under the open autumn sky while listening to the sound of the waves with the sand under your feet.

After cultivating rhythmic deep breathing, we will start to move the body with the breath through a series of warm ups before moving into a slow paced, gentle vinyasa flow. We will connect breath and movement to bring us into a meditative state of mind, preparing us for a relaxing and mindful day.
All levels welcome. I will be happy to modify poses for students who are stiff or have any injuries.

Creating a Home Yoga Practice

Practicing yoga at home may sound easy, but deciding which poses to practice and how to put them together may cause some uncertainty. In this three part workshop series you will learn some basic building blocks to help you to start putting together your own sequences.

We will create a basic sequence broken down into categories of poses. We will become familiar with the poses in each group so that you feel comfortable practicing them on your own. The categories of poses will build into a well-rounded sequence that includes warming up , sun salutations, standing poses, twisting, forward bending and closing poses. By sequencing the poses in this order you can not only create a nice flowing practice but also one that slowly warms you up, energizes and challenges you, then slowly comes to an end with quiet and relaxing poses. From this starting point you will then learn to modify the sequence to suit your needs, moods and time limits.

We will ask you to experiment with your home practice during the one-month interval between classes. This will give you a chance to commit the poses to memory, see your own strengths and weaknesses and feel the effects of your home practice.

Week 1: Sunday April 20 th Thirty Past one pm ~ 5:30 p.m.
Warm up the body with opening poses and sun salutations. You will have a chance to practice and learn how to warm up each of the major joints of the body as well as flow easily through a round of sun salutations.

Week 2: Sunday May 18 th Half Past one pm ~ half past five p.m.
Add some intensity to your sequence with strength building standing poses. Add forward bending poses to your sequence to relax the body and mind at the end of your practice.

Week 3: Sunday June 22 nd  Half Past one pm ~ half past five pm
Add twisting poses to your sequence to receive their many benefits. Add closing poses to your sequence to slow down, relax and restore your energy before moving away from your mat.
